Manuscript submissions and review
Signed-in authors can submit PDF manuscripts and declarations for editorial review. Files and review records are held in restricted storage and are available to the submitting author, handling editor and assigned reviewers as their roles require. Editorial administrators manage intake. Reviewer identities and confidential comments are withheld from authors. Publication requires an explicit editorial release and makes the accepted PDF, author names, abstract and declarations public under the agreed licence. Retracted records retain a public notice; earlier files remain restricted. Contact the Institute for retention, correction or personal-data requests. No submission or assignment emails are sent automatically.
Country assessment research records
Assigned country-assessment researchers can store source evidence, independent extraction decisions, conflict declarations and review history. Access is restricted to the coordinator and assigned reviewers. Other extraction values remain hidden until both submissions are locked. Released pilot profiles publish the final evidence, source links, scope and findings; account emails, private submissions and internal history remain restricted. Withdrawn profiles retain a public withdrawal notice. Corrections preserve earlier releases in the restricted assessment history. Contact the Institute about access, correction or retention of personal research records.
Information and purposes
We receive the professional contact details, organisation, jurisdiction, proposal, availability and interests that you supply. Required fields enable us to assess and answer your request; optional fields can be omitted. Submission is voluntary and does not create a contract. We use this information to respond, assess research alignment, review conflicts and manage correspondence.
Basis for processing
We rely on legitimate interests in handling professional enquiries and maintaining proportionate institutional records. Where you request steps towards a contract, that purpose may also apply. Any future marketing subscription will require a separate choice. Form acknowledgement does not enrol you in marketing.
Services receiving information
Forms send your entries to FormSubmit, an external form-delivery service, for onward delivery to the designated MSI contact mailbox. Website hosting providers process technical connection and security data. Information is not sold. Read FormSubmit’s privacy information before submitting. External services may process information outside your country; their terms describe their arrangements. Use direct email if you prefer to avoid FormSubmit.
Retention and security
MSI will review inactive enquiries after 12 months and delete personal information no longer needed. Active collaborations, contractual records and necessary dispute records may require longer retention, assessed by purpose. Access is limited to people who need to assess and respond. This website is not a secure channel for patient records, classified information or confidential research datasets.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object to processing. Portability and withdrawal of consent apply where relevant. Contact the executive office; we may ask for proportionate identity verification. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority.
Careers applications and CVs
Careers submissions include your contact details, country, experience, availability, preferred opportunity and uploaded CV. FormSubmit sends these to executive.office.global@pm.me for assessment by the executive office. Do not include identity documents, financial details, health information or confidential third-party records. Recruitment decisions are made by people; the site does not score or automatically select candidates.
Application details and CVs are reviewed for deletion within six months of the last substantive contact unless an engagement, dispute or other justified retention need applies. Where you separately opt in to consideration for future opportunities, your profile may be retained for up to 12 months; you can withdraw that permission through the executive office. Submitting an application does not add you to marketing communications. Request access, correction or deletion through the Institute contact route.
Research systems and editorial records
The research workspace stores evidence, signals, pilot assessments, manuscript content and editorial change records in the Institute website database. Drafts and review notes are restricted to authorised editors. Public release makes the selected record visible to visitors. Audit entries record the editor account, action, time and record snapshot for accountability. Editors should not enter patient-level data, confidential third-party records or material they lack authority to publish. Requests about staff account records can be directed to the executive office.
Human assessment
The website does not make automated appointment, funding or partnership decisions. Applications and enquiries require human assessment. Changes to processing will be reflected in this notice.
